Jeremiah 8:2-4

2 And they shall spread them before the sun, and the moon, and all the host of heaven, whom they have loved, and whom they have served, and whom they have followed, and whom they have sought, and whom they have worshipped: they shall not be gathered nor be buried, but shall be as dung upon the earth.
3 And death shall be desired [a]rather than life of all the residue that remaineth of this wicked family, which remain in all the places where I have scattered them, saith the Lord of hosts.
4 Thou shalt say unto them also, Thus saith the Lord, Shall they [b]fall, and not arise? shall he turn away and not turn again?
